CAPT. Jeremy Clark, Chief of Staff

Capt. Jeremy “Shed” Clark is a native of Cedar Rapids, IA. He completed his undergraduate studies at Purdue in Forestry and Natural Resources and received his MBA at the Naval Postgraduate School with a focus on financial management. After completing the NRTOC program at Purdue University he was commissioned in May of 1999 and headed to Pensacola to begin his flight training.

During flight training he was stationed at Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, NAS Corpus Christi, and was selected to rotary wing aviation and received his wings of gold at NAS Milton Field in 2001. He then continued on to complete his Fleet Replacement Tour at HS-10 in San Diego before departing to HS-14 at NASF Atsugi Japan. 

Capt. Clark’s sea tours include HS-14 on the USS Kitty Hawk with multiple deployments to 5th Fleet in support of OEF/OIF and 7th Fleet for patrols from 2001-2004. CVW-11 with two deployments to 5th and 7th Fleet aboard the USS Nimitz from 2007-2009. HS-6/HSC-6 aboard the USS Nimitz from 2009-2011 as the maintenance Department Head. His command tour was with the Eightballers of HSC-8 aboard the USS Nimitz from 2016-2018. They were deployed to both 5th and 7th Fleet and were the recipients of the 2018 Battle E award.

Capt. Clark’s shore tours include the Rotary Wing Weapons School at Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center from 2004-2007 as the Weapons and Tactics Instructor program manager. He completed his joint tour aboard the National Airborne Operations Center at U.S. Strategic Command from 2014-2015 as the senior nuclear strike advisor to the President. After the completion of his command tour he reported to Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center as the Rotary Wing Weapons School as the senior rotary wing pilot. He was responsible for Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP) and force employment development for USN Rotary Wing Aviation and Fixed Wing Aviation for Fleet Commanders, as well as, U.S. Indo-Pacific Command.

Capt. Clark reported as the Chief of Staff for Carrier Strike Group FIFTEEN in June of 2023.
